Recent unexpected findings showed that increasing fingertip temperature during cuff occlusion in the non-occluded (contra-lateral) arm may be associated with better vascular health, whereas decreasing temperature may be associated with higher cardiovascular risk. Upon confirmation, these findings may suggest a potential utility for VENDYS® to assess neurovascular as well as vascular reactivity.
